This Vltava river hiking trail is moderate loop trail, about 12,3km, 3-4hrs walking, not many uphill walks – you will definitely like it 🙂 Especially after meeting friendly swans.
It was a lot of dirt in the forest after the rain, so little boys don’t look very happy though 🙂
You can find some food and drinks near the river, also there are roads for bikes 🚴 The banks alongside Vltava River are especially made for picnics.
You can also meet friendly swans! They are not afraid of people, but don’t like dogs that try to steal fresh grass from them! Our little Baryk got his “shhh” from male swan trying to compete in grass eating quest.
On the way to viewpoint we also found strange pyramid in the forest. There are a lot of stories/legends about this pyramid and the smaller one that stands near it. According to the legend under the smaller pyramid is the body of beloved dog of the man, who designed it. And if you want your dog to live long happy life you need go around this pyramid minimum 3 times 🙂
On our way back we also met this beautiful boy or girl, who was probably waiting for his/her owner or was just meditating 🙂 so calm, I am impressed!
There is a wooden pergola on the way back where you can have your meal and hot tea ☕️
